You take me out to dinner buy me tickets to the show. And anyplace you take me is a place I wanna go. Everytime you touch me I can feel it in my soul. There’s unspoken words between us. Could you already know?

Let love be stronger
Here’s a thought for today that was inspired by someone I met the winter of 2016 while working at a homeless shelter in the Fargo-Moorhead Community.

Culinary Adventures
Like all of you, Facebook constantly inundates me with advertisements for all the things I need, don’t needs, or never even knew existed. However, one day as I was scrolling through the feed I saw an advertisement for this thing called Home Chef.
Now, normally I would just keep scrolling. But there was this picture of an amazing plate of food! If you’ve ever been with me to a restaurant, you know that when it comes to food, I am sold on the pictures. If there isn’t a tasty-looking well-plated meal in a fancy staged photograph, I’m not buying.

A Mother’s Remembrance
For months before she was even conceived, I had wanted Alex in my life. I dreamed of her with smooth, soft skin, full dark hair and big eyes framed with long lashes. But the months went by without any indication of her arrival until July 25th, 2011.

The Importance of Prevention
Holidays can be a time of great joy. This past year, my holiday season was filled with gifts of generosity, the love of family and friends, and sounds of laughter that sang such a sweet ambient melody I couldn’t help but stop for a moment to bask in the peaceful joy of it all – even amid the hustle and bustle that can also accompany the latter months of the year. What would I give to be Psyche again
The shadow of a young man,
And the shadow of a young woman
Sit side by side on a hill.

The Difference
There are many things I remember about my grandmother Violet. Her kisses, those were soft as snow falling on your cheek. Her smile, it started with her lips and crinkled up to her eyes and then out to everyone around her.
